COMMUNITY ACTION FOR A MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY

INFORMATION COMING SOON

Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) is a program that supports the Queensland Government’s commitment to promote an inclusive, harmonious, and united Queensland.

The program aims to improve access and equity for people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds in 21 program areas across 17 Local Government Areas.

The program provides funding to locally-based organisations to deliver local economic and social inclusion outcomes.

Each funded organisation strategically plans and delivers a range of projects, activities, and initiatives under the program that address local barriers to economic and social inclusion and build sustainable opportunities for inclusion in local employment, services, networks, and industries.

Stronger Together is the Gladstone local organisation that delivers this program through the facilitation of a range of activities including our Multicultural Hub, ‘My Aussie Plan (My Map)” service, relevant and responsive information sessions, interagency support, referrals and resource development.
